So we headed on up north for a few day getaway! As me and the kids were going for a walk, we headed over to check out my grandparents new lot! The only we discovered, was a huge pile of scrap wood, which happened to be the remains of an old outhouse. First of all, the scrap wood alone was beautiful. Luckily, my dad knows my taste well enough, that he knew the gem of it all was at the bottom of the pile. As we uncovered piece by piece, there she was, a beautiful, old outhouse door, with hearts and all! As she returned home, I spent some time cleaning her up (being that it was an outhouse and all). There she stands with a new home against my dining room wall!
