"Loved by You" Pallet Sign

Again, back to my pallets!  Like in most of my other pallet designs, I came across this image on my silhouette software, and fell in love with it!  After constructing my sign, I decided to give it a white background.  As for the text,  after cutting it out on my cameo, I simply used it as a stencil.  I feel like I say this after every sign,  but, I think this one my be my favorite one yet!!

Fabric Flower and Jeweled Necklace

My dad stopped by the other day with a whole bin full of gorgeous vintage broaches and earrings.  I had seen these fabric necklaces on pinterest before and I was always very jealous.  I thought I'd take it up a notch and make a similar necklace but add all of these beautiful vintage jewels.
To start out, I made my fabric flowers and picked out some coordinating jewels.  I made a white felt backing to glue my flowers onto.  After the flowers were on, I played around with the layout of the jewels.  When I found a good spot for them, I attached them with hot glue.  It turned out just gorgeous and I can't wait to wear it!!

Circus Peanut Easter Treat

With easter approaching, I thought I'd start thinking about some ideas for school treats.  While I was at the dollar store these circus peanuts and green bubble gum sticks caught my eye and I thought they would make the perfect little carrot.  Just break the sticks into small pieces and stick right into your circus peanut.  I happen to have these small white buckets, but you could easily arrange them in a small cellophane bag.  I designed my tags on my silhouette cameo, but you can find many adorable printable "bunny bait" tags on pinterest.  I'm sure my kids will love them and I'm sure your will too!   I mean who doesn't like circus peanuts?

Nautical Banner

Since we have decided to make the move to South Carolina, I decided to get a jump start and give my son's room a makeover.  Being on the coast, I thought it would be cute to go with a nautical theme.  At the craft store, this wood banner was already precut.  How convenient!! On my silhouette machine, I came across these anchors, which I thought would fit the theme perfect.  I've always payed so much attention to my girls rooms, I'm excited to work on his for a change!!

Fabric Covered Monogram

So me and my family have up and decided to move to Charleston, South Carolina!!  We haven't found a home yet, but I'm so excited at the thought of decorating a whole new house!!  With that said, I've decided to start making some new home decor.  Lately I've been loving this peachy, coral color, so without knowing where it will go, I thought I can always find a spot for a wood monogram letter.  To start off, I painted the letter coral, took the "C" and turned it upside down and traced it on my fabric.  After cutting it out, I covered the letter with mod podge, laid my fabric on and put another layer of mod podge over the top.  After it was dry, I added some fabric flowers to dress it up a bit.  I know I'll be able  to find it a perfect spot in my new home!!

St. Patrick's Day Treats

With St Patrick's Day just around the corner, I decided I had to make up my mind, and pick one of the many creative ideas to make for my kid's school treats!  While searching around I found these adorable printable tags at She's Kinda Crafty.  I thought the rolo's and the rainbow airheads would perfectly for my gold and my rainbow!  The kid's are going to love them!!

For my daughter's class we had to stay away from candy, so this mix of pretzels, and lucky charms seemed appropriate.  As for the printable tags, you can find them at Little Bit Funky.  I'm sure your kid's would live them too!
