Crayon Halloween Favors

A while ago I came across a couple of bags of small boxes of crayons at Good Will.  There were 6 boxes for only 99 cents each bags.  So with thought of of hopefully coming up with a future school project, of course I decided to buy them all!  With halloween just around the corner, I decide my crayons would finally be put to use.

Cute, Huh?
All I had to do is come up with a cute saying ( You color so Boo-tifully)  and design a halloween tag to put with each box of crayons.  I used my Silhouette to come up with this one.
They turned out so cute and I have no doubt my daughter's kindergarden class will love them!

Trick or Treat Bags

At my last trip to Dollar Tree I came across these black tote bags and I thought they'd work perfect for trick or treat. For that personal touch, I decided to add each of their names! No more plastic pumpkins, how can you beat these!!
Personalized Trick or Treat Bags

As for making them, you'll need:
Tote bags
Printable image or design software
printable iron on heat transfer sheets

To start, find or design your image on the computer.  Next, simply print your image on the heat transfer sheets.  Iron it on, and there you have it, new adorable trick or treat bags!!  If you choose, add a couple coordinating ribbons for a little extra pizzazz!
It can't get much simpler than that!!

Halloween Treat

Halloween Treat's for this year!  It's always hard to choose what to make, with endless cute ideas out there.  I decided to go with chocolate covered pretzel rods.  I had so many halloween sprinkles, I thought this would be a great way to use them up!  As for the labels, I found them at Creative Cain Cabin.  The kids loved them, who doesn't like pretzels and chocolate?

My own little Cabbage Patch Doll!!  She couldn't fit the part more perfectly!  With those little chubby cheeks and all!

After giving Paige a couple of options, this was what she decided on!  She told me she was a little latte!

As for Collin's costume, he's representing for his favorite movie, Willy Wonka!!  Who doesn't love the Oompa Loompas!

Halloween Costumes

My little ladybug, and my little mummy!  Last year Collin decided he really wanted to be a mummy for Halloween.  When we went to the store, all of the mummy costumes we found I was not impressed with.  So I thought I'd take it on myself!  We took off for Walmart to buy a white sweatshirt and sweatpants.  I thought that would be a good starting point.  We also picked up some cheesecloth.   After we got home I found an old white sheet which I ripped into tons of strips about five inches wide, as well as the cheesecloth.  I filled a cooler with water, a whole pack of tea bags and some coffee grounds.  Put the fabric strips into the cooler and let them soak overnight.  When there done they'll appear a dirty white color.  I did put mine in the washing machine at this point, they smelled of very strong coffee.  After fresh and clean, use strong fabric glue to piece on the fabric.  I randomly pieced mine, switching off between fabric and cheesecloth. I also did on occasion tie a couple knots to give it some character.  I surprised myself at how well it all stayed together.  Going in to it, I thought, all I need is for this to stay together for one day!  I did that, and more.  After a couple wearings it is still in perfect condition with no dangling pieces!  As for the hat which I skipped over, I took an old baseball hat and cut off the brim.  Repeat the same method with fabric and cheesecloth.  Now the question is, what are they going to want to be next year?
