I had featured this memo board back in July at This Silly Girls Life, but incase you missed it, I thought I'd share it again!! With everybody's busy schedules now a days, we need many different ways of staying organized. Chalkboards, dry erase boards, bulletin boards, so why not an embroidery hoop? This is so simple, and yet so useful!! You can make one to match any room, just pick your fabric to match!. Cute, huh?
Embroidery Hoop Memo Board
Simple, Right?
I needed to come up with a project to use up some of these embroidery hoops that I had laying around and could never. Until now, it finally hit me!
The hoop I used was 18 inches in diameter, but you could easily use any size. After choosing my fabric, I painted the hoop a coordinating color. Than lay your fabric and your twine on top of the inner circle. While it's all in place, push the outer circle on and pull the fabric tight. I decided to add a burlap bow and of course, the mini clothespins to attach my notes.
You could use this for notes or an awesome way to display pictures. Either way, I think it turned out adorable and love that I got to use up some old materials that I just had laying around. Give it try, it's hard to mess this one up!!
