Corn On The Cob Kix Treats

You may have seen my Corn on the Cob Kix Treats when they were featured on Raegun's Ramblings back in May.  Well, now I'm thrilled to share them with you myself!   What a fun treat to bring along to your next summer party!  I promise, your kids will surely eat their vegetables!

Corn on the Cob Kix Treats

Aren't these just adorable?  And just on time for barbecue season!  Nothing screams summer more than corn on the cob, except, corn on the cob for dessert?  Sounds great to me!!  I've made such a variety of things out of krispie treats in the past, but these are my favorite, hands down.  So cute and so simple to make.

What you'll need:
1 stick butter
1 bag large marshmallows
6 cups Kix cereal
yellow food coloring
Corn holders

Melt butter in sauce pan over low heat.  Add marshmallows.  Stir occasionally until completely melted. Add food coloring until bright yellow in color.   Slowly stir in cereal until fully coated.  Remove from heat.  Take hand full of cereal mixture and form into corn shape.  Add corn holders to each end.
